A/W 2025 Collection
Ilona Tambor’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection moves through Italy, from the storm-dark elegance of Lago di Como to the theatrical splendour of Il Carnevale di Venezia. Each design draws on place, atmosphere and imagination, transforming silk into a form of storytelling.
This collection is rooted in contrast. Water and masquerade. Weather and music. Silence and ceremony. In Lago di Como, restless waves, mountain light and ornate villa gates come together in a vision shaped by the energy of a summer storm. In Il Carnevale di Venezia, the world becomes more theatrical, filled with masks, instruments, costume and the strange beauty of performance.
Together, the two designs reflect the heart of Ilona Tambor’s artistic universe: cultural memory, symbolism and detail, translated into silk with a sense of poetry and permanence.
From storm to masquerade
At the centre of A/W 2025 are two very different moods. Il Carnevale di Venezia looks to Venice in all its drama and ornament, while Lago di Como turns towards nature, movement and the unpredictability of light and water.
Though distinct, the two designs belong together. One is shaped by spectacle, the other by atmosphere. Both are layered with symbols that invite the eye to return again and again.

Il Carnevale di Venezia brings the splendour of Venice’s carnival to life. At its centre, an Afghan hound in a theatrical mask and feathered hat embodies the city’s spirit, framed by gothic arches, musical instruments, and the timeless masks of commedia dell’arte.
Lago di Como is Ilona Tambor’s poetic tribute to one of Italy’s most iconic lakes. Inspired by a summer storm, the design captures turbulent waters, dramatic skies, and surreal birds rising above the waves, framed by ornate Como villa gates and trailing wisteria.

Where the collection begins
Every Ilona Tambor design starts as a drawing. Before silk, before colour, before scale, there is the quiet process of composition in pencil. This is where the world of the scarf begins to take form.
For A/W 2025, those first drawings carried both the storm of Lago di Como and the splendour of Il Carnevale di Venezia. They hold the collection in its purest state: line, imagination and the earliest gesture of what will later become silk.

The collection as a whole
A/W 2025 is a meeting of landscape and legend. It brings together the force of nature, the language of costume and the intimacy of drawing, all translated into silk with the richness and refinement that define Ilona Tambor.
From Como’s storm-touched waters to Venice’s carnival theatre, the collection invites the wearer into two imagined worlds, both rooted in Italy and reinterpreted through illustration.
